Cathlene Johnson founded InTheGame, Corporation in 1998. As President of Recruitment Services, Ms. Johnson provides clients with recruiting and sourcing solutions to maximize their efforts in attracting top caliber talent.

Ms. Johnson brings to InTheGame, over 15 years of recruitment and organizational development experience. Prior to InTheGame, Ms. Johnson worked as Technical Recruitment Manager for Tribune Company, a leading media company with operations in Broadcasting, Publishing, Education & Interactive. In this role, Ms. Johnson counseled senior technology managers on recruiting and organizational issues and developed and implemented technical recruitment strategies and resources to attract top caliber talent for Tribune’s local and national business units.

Prior to this role, Ms. Johnson held several positions with Tribune corporate as Human Resource Manager, Employee Relations Manager and Employment Supervisor. Prior to joining Tribune, Ms. Johnson worked as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Employee Relations for the American Bar Association.

A native of Chicago, IL, Ms. Johnson is recognized by the Society of Human Resource Management as a certified Professional in Human Resources. Ms. Johnson is also a certified POWERPartner, trained in the Power Hiring international hiring program that significantly increases hiring accuracy and employee retention.
